DDSB (public)
- Regular Board and Standing / Committee of the Whole meetings typically occur on the first and third Mondays of each month (September–June), with exceptions.
- Governance & Policy Committee often meets on the last Wednesday of the month.
- Hybrid: Education Centre, 400 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, plus DDSB Live on YouTube.
- Public Question Period at regular Board meetings. Question form typically opens Wednesday 9:00 a.m. and closes Friday 12:00 p.m. before the meeting.

DCDSB (Catholic)
- Regular Board meetings are typically on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Other important dates
PPM 162 notices. Boards must give at least 20 school days’ notice before Human Development & Sexual Health instruction. Watch for notices in the fall and whenever a new unit is scheduled.
School Council elections. Must be held within the first 30 days of the school year (September). Nomination forms go out early in September. O. Reg. 612/00, s. 4–5.
DDSB PIC 2025–26 (verify current year on the board site): Sept 18, Nov 24 2025 · Jan 15, Apr 15, June 4 2026 (virtual, 6:30 p.m.).
DCDSB DCPIC: Parent Involvement Committee dates change by school year. Confirm the current schedule on the DCDSB website or with the board office before planning around a specific meeting night.
Next municipal & school board election: October 26, 2026. After that, October 2030.
