About this resource

This independent website was created to give Durham Region parents a single, practical place to understand what is currently happening in DDSB and DCDSB schools regarding gender identity, sexual orientation curriculum, preferred names, GSAs, equity frameworks, and related policies — and to equip them with the legal and procedural tools available under Ontario law.

Purpose

• Provide factual summaries of board policies and Ministry documents, with links to the originals
• Explain parent rights under PPM 162 and the Education Act
• Offer ready-to-use templates, checklists, and escalation paths
• List current contacts (trustees, leadership, FOI, Ombudsman) with phones
• Highlight questions of balance and equal representation for all students

How to use this site offline

Download the entire folder as a zip. Open index.html in any modern browser. Styles, search, menus, and copy buttons are local files — they work without internet. External official board and Ministry links still need a connection.
